My name is Matthew Engum and I am grateful to be the Pastor here at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. My journey with this community began in July of 2022. I am a 2018 graduate of Concordia College - Moorhead with a degree in Business Management and a 2022 graduate of Wartburg Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity. My wife Alexis is a 7th/8th grade math teacher at Lake Park-Audubon and we live in Audubon. In my spare time, you can find (and join!) me fishing, mountain biking, reading, hiking, or watching racing. John 13: 34-35: “I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” My hope is that myself and the people of St. Peter’s emulate this passage. Don’t be afraid to reach out, I’m always available for a beverage and conversation.
